To play poker for a living i think you have to be a pretty disciplined and a bit crazy!

Fair play to the one’s who have risked everything and come out on top but i work too hard to lose it all clicking a button online!

I play online poker and although I don't know the exact figures off of the top of my head i can give you a round about estimate of how much money i have spent on online poker in the last month, how much i lost and how much i have won. I would have to say that in the last month i would have lost about $200 but won around $600, so after taking away the loss i would have gained around $400 from playing online poker in the last month, so that's around $100 a month gain which is nothing bad really, not something to go getting over excited over but enough to pay one of your bills each month i suppose. There are some people out there who do make a really nice easy living from playing online poker but these players are very very good at what they do, this is why they can make thousands of dollars every month, and why shouldn't they? If i was that good at poker i would be doing the exact same thing, i'd be getting paid good money basicially to do something that i love, self employed, pick your own hours etc, best job ever!

I make ~$150-200 a month playing .05/.10 short handed no limit. Its a modest winrate. I could be doing much better though. ~30,000 hands/month

ive been winning consistently, but i only play 3$ and 6$ blinds. and play 3-4 tables at once. Usually make 500-600 a month...

You have an extremely small sample size to go on. And only a very small percentage of players actually win money consistently, and even smaller make a living. And being able to adjust to online play from live play takes an extra amount of discipline, smart money management, and smart play.

my brother did it for a while and made money but it all and then he quite. if i were you i would play intill you get the enough money till your even again so your not in any debt or anything anymore money.

yes you can on some pocker sites or u may be playing the fake for fun poker and it depends how good or bad you play to find out how much you won or lost a month
